A new Netflix film tells the story of the men caught them. Directed by John Lee Hancock (Saving Mr Banks, The Blind Side), The Highwaymen will follow the two detectives, Frank Harner and Maney Gault, who tracked the infamous duo down.
The full plot synopsis reads: "The outlaws made headlines. The lawmen made history... The Highwaymen follows the untold true story of the legendary detectives who brought down Bonnie and Clyde."

Filmed on location in Texas and Louisiana, the film sees Kevin Costner star as Harner and Woody Harrelson star as Gault. Kathy Bates and Kim Dickens also feature.

The Highwaymen will have a limited theatrical release from 15 March and will launch globally on Netflix from 29 March.
