Hundreds of deadly funnel-web spiders escape egg sac
The local wildlife park was alerted when a man discovered the spiders in his back garden
Confronted with a sac full of deadly funnel-web spiders, most of us would run a mile, or at least reach for the nearest available industrial-strength bug spray.
But one resident of Matcham, Australia contacted his local wildlife park,.
The venom from funnel-web spiders can kill humans in just 15 minutes, but it is also highly valuable to those hoping to develop an antidote.
So The Australian Reptile Park came and captured the creatures and released this video of the baby spiders hatching from the sack.
