Manchester United have unveiled their away kit for the 2016/17 season, with the inclusion of David De Gea in the promotional imagery providing hope for fans that the goalkeeper will remain at the club beyond this summer.
United have reverted to a blue strip for the first time in three years, having worn a white away kit for the last two (although they did have a blue third kit during the 2014/15 season).
As the official write-up explains: "It includes a distinct dark blue mélange detail, with red accents of the Adidas performance logo, three stripes on the shoulders and a red Manchester United crest.
"There is also a 'Red Devils' detail visible on the inside of the jersey."
Of more interest is that De Gea is included in the imagery to promote the new jersey - although he cuts a moody figure in the photoshoot. The Spaniard has been strongly linked with a summer move to Real Madrid after a deal for his transfer to the Bernabeu last August only fell through due to a paperwork error.
Manchester United were beaten last night by West Ham, meaning a top four finish is now only possible if they beat Bournemouth on the final day of the season and Manchester City lose to Swansea.
