Gigi Hadid has shared a series of black-and-white pregnancy portraits showing her expectant stomach.

On Wednesday, the supermodel uploaded six professional pictures to Instagram, with the first captioned: “Growin an angel.”

In the photo, Hadid, dressed in a flowing white gown, kneels on the floor and cradles her stomach.

In the second post, the 25-year-old shared two portraits in which she can be seen showing her profile in a sheer, chiffon mini-dress. “7.26.20,” the model captioned the photos.

The final post, which is also in black-and-white, sees Hadid posing in a series of positions while holding her growing stomach.

She captioned the post: “Cherishing this time. Appreciate all the love and well wishes. Will never forget creating these special images with my friends @luigiandiango@gabriellak_j @erinparsonsmakeup thank you. I love you!”

The never-before-seen portraits prompted an outpouring of support from fellow celebrities including Karlie Kloss, Ashley Graham and Adriana Lima.

“Absolutely stunning,” Kloss commented, while Graham wrote: “One of the best feelings in the world! Congratulations beauty!”

Fellow supermodel Lima wrote: “Gorgeous mama.”

Hadid, who is expecting her first child with Zayn Malik, confirmed her pregnancy in April in an interview with Jimmy Fallon.

“Obviously we wish we could have announced it on our own terms, but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support,” she said at the time.

The new photos mark the first time Hadid has shared pictures of her pregnancy with fans.

In a video shared to Instagram in July, the model said she hadn’t been sharing pictures of her baby bump because it’s “not the most important thing in the world” right now.

“Right now I just want to experience it and I write in my journal a lot and I just don’t want to worry about waking up every day and look cute and post something,” she said, adding: “A lot of people are confused by why I am not sharing more but I am pregnant through a pandemic, obviously my pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world, that’s in part why I didn’t feel a need to share, apart from with my family and friends.”

According to Hadid, she felt it was more important at the time to use her platform to highlight important causes such as the Black Lives Matter movement and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
