Last night the 2017 Fashion Awards, formerly known as the British Fashion Awards, saw a stylish crowd flock to the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London to celebrate the industry’s most creative talent.

Held in partnership with Swarovski, it’s undoubtedly one of the most glamorous events of the year but this time round it also served as an emotionally charged tribute to some of fashion’s most recent losses.

While Dior’s Maria Grazia Chiuri acknowledged the late Franza Sozzani, supermodel Naomi Campbell gave a touching speech surrounded by models dressed in the creations of Azzedine Alaïa who sadly passed away last month.

Among the biggest winners of the night was Vogue cover star Adwoa Aboah who scooped ‘Model of the Year’ wearing a glittering creation from London-based designer Halpern.

Sporting a two-tone sequinned mini dress and matching metallic turban, Aboah completed the look with Christian Louboutin wedges that had been customised with 2000 Swarovski crystals.

Another standout look from the night was Selena Gomez’s girlish satin gown from Coach that came finished with a delicate lace hem and small floral accents.

Showcasing her new blonde tresses with wet-look hair she vamped up the prairie-style ensemble with a dark, gothic lip.

Meanwhile model-of-the-moment Kaia Gerber wore a blue ruffled two-piece from Ralph & Russo, Zendaya stunned in Vivetta and Poppy Delevingne sported a show-stopping floral number designed by Giambattista Valli.
