Mohamed Salah

The Premier League returns this weekend but many fantasy managers already have one eye on the upcoming double gameweek, when Liverpool and West Ham play twice.

Tripling up on Liverpool assets seems wise and if you can afford Sadio Mané and Mohamed Salah, you will be in a strong position. Why not move early? Jurgen Klopp's side face out-of-sorts Tottenham in Saturday's evening kick-off.

Raul Jimenez

A model of consistency until very recently, Raul Jimenez can usually be relied upon for attacking returns, even with great choice in the mid-price striker bracket at the moment.

Despite drawing a blank against Watford on New Year's Day, Jimenez has scored or assisted in eight of his last 11 games and faces struggling Newcastle at Molineux this time around.

Riyad Mahrez

Manchester City are starting to look like their old selves again and this weekend, the champions travel to the top flight's weakest defence according to underlying numbers.

Aston Villa have kept just one clean sheet in their last eight. Any City attacker could profit, but Riyad Mahrez has looked lively of late after being handed a run of starts.

Ismaila Sarr

Ismaila Sarr, Watford's most eye-catching signing of the summer, is finally seeing regular minutes and has delivered for new manager Nigel Pearson, with four attacking returns in four.

Sarr has 28 points in his last five appearances and is putting up impressive shot numbers, yet is still in less than one per cent of squads. Expect that to change soon.

Djibril Sidibe

Carlo Ancelotti's start of the life at Everton suffered a setback in the FA Cup last weekend but their league displays have been more encouraging, with a new 3-5-2 system showing promise.

The formation gives Djibril Sidibe greater influence further up the pitch, and the former Monaco wing-back could excel over Everton's forthcoming run of favourable fixtures.

Honourable mentions: Rui Patricio, Ainsley-Maitland Niles, Romain Saiss, Raheem Sterling, Anthony Martial
