Every so often, Jack Sheldon from Jack’s Flight Club selects a flight deal from the UK for Independent readers that you can’t afford to miss. This week: return flights to Hawaii in business class for under £1500.

Anyone in the mood to spoil themselves? Business class flights to Hawaii will typically run you double this fare – much more so over the Christmas & New Year period! These flights are operated by British Airways and their American Airlines codeshare partners, and include lie-flat seats on the longest legs of your journey. While most routes will have short layovers each way, others have optional daytime stops in Los Angeles, so you can choose whether to explore LA for a few hours or enjoy your business lounge access and bubbly.

They won’t last long though, so be quick.

How to book

To search for the best dates on this one, I recommend going to Google Flights and entering your chosen Hawaii airport as the destination airport. Use a flight search filter to only select 'non-stop' flight options and then click on the calendar tool, which will highlight the best (cheapest) travel dates in green. Once you’ve identified your itinerary, you can book one of two ways:

1) Follow the link from Google Flights to book directly with British Airways, which will be more expensive, but will allow more flexibility if you have to make changes later on.

or

2) To save an additional £80-£100 or so, head over to a third-party booking site and re-enter your exact itinerary. They might offer it even cheaper.

Pro tip

If you’d like to go island hopping in Hawaii, you can easily fly into one island and out of another for roughly the same price. Just change your itinerary to ‘multi-city’ and select which islands you’d like to visit
