PDC World Championship day 6 preview: What time does it start, what channel is it on and what's the order of play?
A look ahead to the sixth day of the 2016 PDC William Hill World Darts Championship
Dave Chisnall gets his 2016 PDC William Hill World Darts Championship campaign under way as the tournament moves into its sixth day.
The St. Helens-based player will take on the talented youngster Rowby-John Rodriguez, who was a runner-up in the 2014 World Youth Championships.
Chisnall, whose game has notably improved over the last 12 months, should have too much for the 21-year-old Austrian, but will have to play well to have it all his own way.
Earlier on in the evening session, there is a repeat of one of last year’s most memorable encounters, as Cristo Reyes takes on Wes Newton.
The Spaniard sensationally beat the former PDC Premier League competitor in the first round last year and went as far as the third, where he was beaten by the eventual champion Gary Anderson.
Tonight, he is the favourite among many bookmakers, despite Newton being the tie’s seeded player.
Elsewhere, Ronny Huybrechts will be looking to do what his brother Kim couldn’t and progress into the second round after a closely-contested encounter with Dean Winstanley.
Terry Jenkins should have enough to overcome Darin Young in the final match of the night.
Order of play
Tuesday December 22 (7pm-11pm)
4x First Round
Dean Winstanley v Ronny Huybrechts
Wes Newton v Cristo Reyes
Dave Chisnall v Rowby-John Rodriguez
Terry Jenkins v Darin Young
What channel is it on?
Live on the Sky Sports Darts channel, which has replaced the Sky Sports F1 channel for tournament's duration.
This evening’s action will be simulcasted on Sky Sports 2.
