Gary Lineker cut his hand on the BBC Sports Personaltity of the Year award while presenting the opening segment of the show tonight.
"He literally bleeds for the BBC,' joked his co-host Gabby Logan, next to fellow presenter Clare Balding on stage.
Lineker received medical treatment as the camera cut to a video. Lineker did not require a bandage, despite seeming to bleed quite profusely during the opening segment.
