Ever wondered what it would take to make your life feel complete? Perhaps a loving partner, travelling the world or being successful in your career?

Well, according to lifestyle expert and coach Sarah Jones, it’s much more modest than all that.

Sharing her life-affirming demands, Sarah gave Femail a rundown of what it takes to win at the challenging game of life. If you can answer all five of these golden questions, your life is supposedly complete.

1. What are you passionate about?

Understanding what’s important to you is key to living a life of purpose. It’s all about knowing yourself, what makes you tick and what your passions are - once you know exactly what it is you love only then can you use it to towards doing good.

2. Are you happy?

To achieve true happiness you should feel as though everything is exactly as it should be. Being happy is not only important to achieving your own goals but also to helping others reach their personal ambitions and potential.

3. How often do you smile?

Knowing what it feels like to wake up with a smile on your face is a key ingredient to a life well lived. Make sure you smile everyday by thinking about the things you love and the things that make you happy. It’s also contagious and smiling at someone else, friend or stranger, will make a huge difference to their lives and yours.

4. Are you a pessimist?

Living life with a glass half full, can-do attitude is vital to living a happy life. Each day, accept your lot and make the best of the way things turn out. Staying positive will in turn make you feel better, make your more enjoyable to be around and improve your health. Apparently, high self-esteem means you’re less susceptible to illness in comparison to people who fixate on negative emotions.

5. Do you cry regularly?

For many, crying is seen as a sign of weakness but in fact it’s quite the opposite. Tears are a great way to flush out any negative emotions and help you to come to terms with the way you’re feeling. It’s important to let go of emotional baggage so you can move on and feel more at ease.
